Job Title: Lead PET/CT Technologist

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Work Setting: In Person

ABOUT THE JOB:

Join our team of highly experienced full-time technologists in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The candidate must adhere to the Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center’s and Southwest Diagnostic Center for Molecular Imaging’s mission statement: “Providing unsurpassed patient care using the most advanced diagnostic imaging technology with the highest standard of quality.”

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule patients for examinations when necessary.
  • Order a variety of radiopharmaceuticals for oncology, brain, and research studies from multiple radiopharmacies.
  • Assist in maintaining various calibrations for Hot Lab equipment and the PET/CT unit.
  • Demonstrate extreme competence in I.V. access.
  • Provide outstanding patient care.
  • Collect patient history, dose, and scan PET/CT patients.
  • Be self-motivated and capable of managing time effectively to maintain a daily schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved 2-year Associate’s or 4-year Bachelor’s degree program in Science and/or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Nuclear Medicine experience post-graduation.
  • ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certification required.
  • PET/CT experience is not necessary—we will train you in PET/CT.

Key Success Factors:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, surgeries, and medications.
  • Excellent computer and phone skills.
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Impeccable verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Medical Scheduler

Job Type: Full-time

ABOUT THE JOB:

Our busy outpatient radiology center is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Scheduling Department. The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Experience in radiology scheduling and a fast typing speed are considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule radiology appointments efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to patients regarding their appointments.
  • Maintain and update patient records with precision.
  • Utilize telephone and computer extensively for daily tasks.
  • Deliver consistent and professional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience: Radiology scheduling experience is a plus

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30am – 4:00pm

Work Setting: In Person

ABOUT THE JOB:

Are you a mammography technologist looking to provide excellent patient care in an outpatient imaging center environment? Or are you a registered radiologic technologist interested in crossing over into the highly rewarding field of mammography? Then consider joining our team of experienced full-time mammographers in an active outpatient setting. We will provide the training you need!

Responsibilities:

Duties include performing high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography exams as well as needle localizations under direct radiologist supervision. Candidate must be a team-player and patient care centered.

Candidate must adhere to Southwest Diagnostic Imaging Center’s mission statement of “Providing unsurpassed patient care using the most advanced diagnostic imaging technology with the highest standards of quality”.

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT(R)(M) or ARRT(R) Certification

About the Job:

This is a fast-paced, and challenging position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the highest level of care for our patients/family members. The Patient Care Coordinator’s primary purpose is to create an exceptional first experience for the patient. Customer service is the number one priority. This individual should have good communication and organizational skills.

Job duties also include consulting with patients and/or their representative to obtain personal/demographic information or verify information already on file, including contact, emergency numbers and insurance information. Document appropriate information in the computer system based upon department documentation standards.
