Job Title: CT Technologist – PRN

About the Job:
The main responsibility of this employee entails the timely performance of CT exams while maintaining quality imaging and quality patient care. The technologist is also responsible for obtaining patient medical histories and obtaining accurate CT scans, administering contrast agents and obtaining prescriptions from radiologist for scans. All CT scans must be performed and all equipment operated to ensure there is no unnecessary radiation to patient, operator, or any persons who may be nearby.
This job requires an individual with good communication skills and the ability to work as a team member, coordinating job duties by the minute with other employees in the center. In this fast paced Imaging Center, the employee must exhibit tolerance and the ability to deal constructively with stress. This person must be empathetic with regard to patient care and always make the patient’s needs the number one priority.
Responsibilities:
- Background in GE equipment or software is desirable
- Knowledgeably performs CT scans in compliance with governing agencies and SWDIC protocols.
- Operates technical equipment skillfully and positions patients accurately.
- Evaluates images for technical quality.
- Ensures correct images are sent to PACS in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current CE with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- Current CE with Texas Medical Board.
- Preferred experience in Computerized Tomography.

Job Title: Patient Account Representative
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Job:
Overall responsibility for contacting all assigned patient and insurance/third-party payer accounts with a debit balance to ensure receipt and processing of claim within 45 days from the date of service. Perform appeals for underpaid claims or claim denials as assigned by the Supervisor. Procure payment or establish payment arrangements with patients and/or guarantors in accordance with business office policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Works a detailed daily work queue for assigned accounts over 31 days old.
- Works detailed aging report as assigned for accounts over 31 days old.
- Audits assigned accounts for proper insurance filing. Compare posted payments to EOBs to confirm proper patient balances prior to patient collection attempts.
- Keeps up to date on vital contract information concerning assigned payers to establish proper and timely payment of claims.
- Determines average claim entry, processes timeframes for assigned payers, and determines the status of unpaid claims beginning from the 45th workday from the date of service.
- Responsible for using available tools to extract needed EOB’s or zero pay EOB’s when needed. Responsible for monitoring all aged patient balances and monthly patient collection calls for outstanding balances owed.
- Research medical or coding denials to process appeals and coverage guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate, technical school, or related training preferred.
- Medical billing, accounts receivable, and collection experience.
- Minimum two years’ work experience in a medical office or equivalent.

About the Job:
Medical Payment Poster needed for North Dallas Radiology company. Overall responsibility for posting all payments received to the corresponding charge on the patient account and liaison activities relating to payment issues.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include manual and electronic medical payment posting.
- Posts insurance and patient payments received to corresponding radiology charges within patient accounts.
- Downloads remittance reports and posts payments to corresponding charges on patient accounts.
- Imports daily files and extracts remittances from providers websites and clearinghouse.
- Posts all zero pay remittance with corresponding denial/reason code.
- Ensures payments received are paid in accordance too contract reimbursement terms.
- Applies appropriate contractual transaction relative to the contract and/or penalty application.
- Responsible for updating the Director of Revenue Cycle and the Billing Supervisor.
- Ensures that the daily deposit worksheet is accurate and matches what was posted daily.
- Ensures that the daily downloads are in balance before going on to the next download.
- Downloads all EOBs and denials to department site.
- Responsible for neatness of work area and security of patient information in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Health Information and Portability Act (HIPAA).
- Works with Management and Compliance Committee to ensure Compliance Program is followed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested

Overall responsibility for timely and thorough reconciliation of line-item credit balances for SWDIC and CMI. The primary objective is to facilitate credit balance reconciliation no later than 60 days from the date of credit balance occurrence for SWDIC and CMI.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering patient and insurance questions regarding refunds and credit balances.
- Assist co-workers on refund issues that arise.
- Responsible for using online payment platforms to process patient refunds.
- Print and analyze a credit balance report monthly.
- Review and analyze an unallocated payment account monthly.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency regarding data input and account balance determinations while achieving minimum goal of fifty account reviews daily.
- Responsible for accurate and thorough account balance research and refund/reconciliation.
- Work with Accounting Department for unclaimed property refund processing.
- Work with Lead, Supervisor, Director, and Compliance Committee to ensure Compliance Program is followed.

Qualifications:
- High school graduate, technical school, or related training preferred.
- Accounts receivable, collection, and refund processing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of medical insurance and recoupment processing preferred.
